I found this Crêpes place Cozy with great Vibes and atmosphere. Crêperie St. Paul is halal and offers sweet and savory crepes. My Nutella with Strawberry crêpes was delicious. The cappuccino and late are wonderfully made with perfection. The service was great

We were taking a walk through the Old Port of Montreal and decided to stop at Crêperie St-Paul on a whim. It was early evening and the place wasn’t very busy, which worked in our favor since we were able to place our order right away without waiting in line. The staff greeted us warmly and were pleasant throughout, creating a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere that fit the mood of an evening stroll in the Old Port. When it came to the food, the crêpe itself was enjoyable—prepared well and presented simply. It wasn’t something that blew us away, but it did the job and left us satisfied in the moment. What stood out more than the taste was the pricing. Given the fact that this spot sits right in the middle of one of the most touristic parts of Montreal, I was honestly expecting to pay more. Instead, the price was reasonable and felt fair for the location, which isn’t always the case in the Old Port. That being said, while the visit was pleasant and without any issues, it didn’t quite stand out enough to make me want to return. It checked the boxes for a casual stop, but the overall experience didn’t leave much of an impression. For us, it was fine to try once while exploring the area, but not the kind of place I’d feel the need to revisit. Sometimes once is enough, and that’s exactly how I’d describe this experience.

Cozy place on the second floor. It’s was a fairly busy time on a Sunday at the beginning of summer, but it wasn’t very busy at all at 6:15, we were just the second table. By 7 PM it wasn’t half full yet. Crepes are about $15-20 each for a main course savoury crepe - they come with a fresh side salad - which was a light tasty side. We tried 4 different savoury crepes - I would say that the crepes become a vehicle for the food, rather than the star attraction itself. The crepes are decent, fairly thick. For those who are unaware, the Quebec style is a thicker, crepe than you may get elsewhere (like Paris). I prefer the Paris version where it’s crispy and elevated everything else. In this case, the food is great, but the crepe didn’t really stand out at all. The salmon and cream cheese surprisingly worked out as did the chicken and bacon (which I would have called corned beef instead of bacon). We had a picky 9 year old who refused to eat it though, but that’s more about him than the quality of the food.

The crepes reminded me of ones from a small creperie in Santa Monica California run by a wonderful French woman. To me this place has the same authenticity. The crepes were very tasty. Service was good. Our waiter Sif was attentive. The place is in one of the old warehouse buildings. We were there in the fall, on a chilly day. They keep the front entrance open, so it was a bit cool, but not uncomfortable. I would definitely return to this place.

I loved it, out of the five lunches/dinners I had in Montreal, i came here three times. Once a Crêpe com mushrooms and salad and twice Poutine with mushrooms which was difficult ti find in other places. The poutine came with a lot of cheese and mushrooms what made me return again. I asked them to please make it with lots of cheese and mushrooms. Not sure if this was why or if it always comes Like this however I loved it!

Let’s be honest… I’m a huge crêpe fan. So when we stumbled upon Crêperie St. Paul, we walked right in (I mean it’s eat-o’clock somewhere). The interior of this second floor restaurant is small and cute. They have a large selection of crêpes to choose from, so if you’re feeling sweet or salty, there’s a variety of options. We got my go-to Nutella with strawberry and banana and a savory chicken and bacon. The crêpes were good and hit the spot. The plus side is the restaurant is located in the heart of old town Montréal, but thankfully the prices were reasonable. The service is very chill, it has definitely more of a cafeteria feel to it than a sit down establishment. So if you’re looking for something quick with no frills, Crêperie St. Paul is a good option.
